YORKSHIRE COUNTRY ESTATE WALK
OVERVIEW
This wildlife-abundant circular walk will follow footpaths around the beautiful 4000-acre grounds of the 250-year old Harewood House Estate, in West Yorkshire. We’re likely to spot deer playing in the woods and majestic red kites and buzzards swooping overhead if we're lucky.
Starting at the Muddy Boots Cafe, we’ll head into the woods before entering the Harewood Estate. We’ll drop down to a river and over a bridge, following tracks past a walled garden, before climbing back up and through the woods, eventually finishing back where we started. There will be an option to extend the walk by 20-30 minutes (no pressure - only if everyone is in agreement on the day).
GATHER
After the walk, there will be an option to stay on to have lunch together at the Muddy Boots Cafe at your own cost and discretion.

FAQS
Are dogs welcome?
- Yes, as long as they are well trained and kept on a lead at all times.
Can I join if I’m not the fastest walker?
- Absolutely! Together Outdoors is about community, not competition. We always look out for each other and only move as fast as the slowest person. If the group is large, it may spread out naturally. Breaks will always be factored in to keep everyone moving as closely as a group as possible.
COST
Optional - by donation
We are committed to providing free events where possible to our community, as we believe financial barriers shouldn't stand in the way of participation. If you are in a position to make a donation, your contribution will help support someone else who is more in need.
