Manaslu Basecamp 2023

Nepal
09/10/2023 - 25/10/2023     COMPLETED

About the trip

The Manaslu circuit is one of the most beautiful and remote trekking routes in Nepal. As a conservation area that requires special permits it feels far more isolated and authentic than the better known Everest base camp and Annapurna circuit treks although being arguably more impressive. Immerse yourself in the vibrant Buddhist culture of the region, exploring beautiful monasteries, staying in picturesque Gurung villages and eating Dahl Baht on the side of mountains. This awe inspiring trek circles a true Himalayan giant, Mount Manaslu, which at 8163m is the eighth highest mountain in the world and certainly one of the most impressive to look at. We will reach the heady heights of the Larkya La pass (5160m) which is a lot higher than anything that can be found in Europe and offers views that have to be seen to be believed. We will also make sure we visit the spinal unit in Kathmandu which M2M makes a donation to each year, so you can see first hand where your fundraising goes.

This is an opportunity to join us on an epic adventure in one of the most stunning places in the world and immerse yourself fully in all that Nepal and the Himalaya have to offer, a truly life changing experience.
